a post-graduate qualification. With the techniques & materials changing
frequently, it's the need of the hour to continuously upgrade one's
knowledge & skills. The continuing education programs in dentistry
provide an opportunity to the dentists to stay current with the
latest developments.
SANYO College of Dentistry's Amritsar Continuing Dental Education
Programs provides the much-needed administrative support to the
"Current Concepts in Dentistry" . These customized educational opportunities
are especially designed for dental graduates to provide a deeper
knowledge and understanding in the specific areas of dentistry.
Our teaching staff includes senior-faculty, researchers, alumni
and outstanding educators from the prestigious institutions and
private practice. The faculty is a group of highly skilled educators
with many years of clinical and teaching experience who share their
knowledge, experience and expertise in a continuum based environment.
Program topics and content are determined by analysing the special
needs of the group in consultation with the Dean for Continuing
Education.
The presentations are interactive with a mix of didactics, hands-on
training, live demonstrations and clinical observations

education & post graduate courses in dentistry from all over India.

If you are a dental CE provider, please register to upload your
courses.
All programs are in English. If necessary, an interpreter will be
provided by the group organizer. To maximize the learning experience,
sessions in Amritsar are limited to a minimum of 5 and a maximum
of 10 participants. Individual dentists, not part of a group, may
join an existing group on depending upon space availability and
with prior approval of the Dean for Continuing Education. Attendance
in Sanyo Dental School is compulsory in fulfilling the requirements
for this program.
Why CDE
The role of continuing education in dentistry is more significant
in the current context due to the rapid technological advances and
increased patient awareness. The easiest way is to be able to find
a comprehensive and innovative curriculum that would take a strategic
leap to the next level in clinical practice.
The CDE programs at Sanyo dental address the learning needs of today's
dentist in a wide spectrum of specialties.
The dynamic course curriculum is carefully constructed keeping in
mind the learning objectives and goals of each module.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must be dental graduate
or persuing his or her dental graduation
Attendance: Four days a week:Mon to Thursday for 2 months
Theory lecture every Monday and Wednesday practical clinics daily
Written Reports: Participants must complete a written report
on a topic to be determined by Sanyo College of Dentistry. Written
reports must be typed. Recommended report length is 15-25 pages.
A list of scientific references should be included. The written
report must be in English
Case Presentations: During the final week at Sanyo College
of Dentistry, participants are required to document and formally
present two (2) clinical cases performed and completed in their
private practices. Assistance shall be provided by CDE.
Program Completion: Upon successful completion of all program
requirements, a certificate of achievement will be awarded by Sanyo
Continuing Dental Education Programs. Please note this certificate
program is not applicable to any formal degree program but is an
acknowledgement of the participants' commitment to professional
growth and development. The final decision on fulfilment of the
requirements shall be the sole discretion of the Dean for Continuing
Education.
